Info: Most palms sold in big box stores and nurseries are Majesty Palms, these are extremely cheap and not the best for an indoor environment. Kentia Palms are high quality indoor palms that last much longer than their counter parts. This would explain the higher price tag. For something more affordable than a Kentia, but better quality than a Majesty palm, check out the Areca Palm.
